It's that time of year again! Finals are just around the corner, so it's time to start studying. If you're feeling overwhelmed, don't worry—we're here to help.
We encourage parents to check their kid’s grade books online to 1) ensure that they know when their exams are, 2) know what the current grade is, and 3) see if there are any missing items (unusual zeros in the grade book). Missing work can usually be turned in late for partial credit before the end of the semester!
Many of our students are signing up for extra sessions for the next 2-3 weeks to prepare for finals. We teach our students many tips on how to prepare for exams through reinforcing organization, planning, self-advocacy, and study skills in addition to academics. By strengthening executive functioning skills, our students develop habits that transfer to success in real life.
